Everbloom is a sustainable agriculture service provider focused on helping planters, companies, NGOs, community gardens, individuals and any other interested parties committed to moving forward with their sustainability agenda. Our goal is to promote food security in Mauritius, in a practical and efficient way.

Our History

Everbloom was created by Vishesh Gangaram, a social entrepreneur driven by his love for what he does and who can’t imagine a life worthwhile doing anything else. Embracing his childhood passion for agriculture and deep fondness for nature, fueled by fascination and curiosity, Vishesh pursued several courses on organic farming, permaculture, and intensive research on sustainable practices.

With the previous lockdowns and the challenges our country faced, Everbloom saw clear opportunities to transform agriculture and aim to be the accelerator of positive change. With the ever-rising of food prices, our goal is to provide innovative agricultural solutions to some of the most pressing environmental and social problems of our time; food security and the protection of our soils.

We believe in the power of cultivation to effect the profound change our country needs to become more sustainable. Everbloom was created to cater to this ever-growing population who wants to plant but does not have the knowledge to do so in a sustainable way.

We think that agricultural workers and communities can play a fundamental role in thedevelopment of the agriculture sector. Our vision is to provide a platform dedicated to sustainable agriculture and food security, encourage change, and achieve


We motivate people and organisations to use unoccupied land to plant fruit, vegetables, herbs,and medicinal plants which require low maintenance and can be harvested throughout the year without the need to constantly replant.


At our social enterprise, we are committed to promoting sustainable agriculture practices that benefit the environment, support local communities, and provide healthy, nutritious food for all. Our mission is to create a food system that is resilient, regenerative, and socially just, while empowering farmers and promoting biodiversity.

  • Supporting agroecological practices: We will promote agroecological practices that support healthy soil, water, and biodiversity, while reducing the impact of agriculture on the environment and climate.

  • Building community resilience: We will work with local communities to build resilient, decentralized food systems that promote food sovereignty, economic opportunity, and social cohesion.

  • Empowering small-scale farmers and individuals: We will provide small-scale farmers and individuals with the resources, training, and support they need to adopt sustainable agriculture practices, increase their yields, and access markets for their products

  • Encouraging responsible consumption: We will encourage responsible consumption by promoting plant-based diets, reducing food waste, and supporting the development of sustainable, local food systems.

  • Promoting social and environmental justice: We are committed to promoting social and environmental justice in all aspects of our work, and will work to ensure that the benefits of sustainable agriculture are shared equitably among all members of society.

Through our efforts, we hope to create a more sustainable and just food system that supports the health and well-being of people and the planet.

restore the health of the soil, reduce the impact of agriculture on the environment, and support biodiversity. We believe that this will lead to healthier and more nutritious food, and a more sustainable food system that benefits all people and the planet

We also envision a world in which local communities are empowered to build resilient food systems that promote food sovereignty, economic opportunity, and social cohesion. We believe that by supporting local food systems, we can reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, strengthen local economies, and provide healthy, affordable food for all.

Ultimately, our vision is a world in which the benefits of sustainable agriculture are shared equitably among all members of society, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status. We believe that this is essential to building a more sustainable and just food system that supports the health and well-being of people and the planet.
